Ann Sessoms

Ann has played at the club since December 1993.

Ann plays the Northumbrian small pipes, usually solo but also in duet with another piper or fiddle player. Her repertoire consists primarily of traditional tunes and modern tunes in traditional style. Most of the music she plays is from Northumberland or the Scottish Borders, the rest from other parts of Britain and her native United States.

She also teaches people to play the pipes, and gives occasional talks on the pipes to local groups.
